Build Your Witchy Wardrobe

This blog is sponsored by my store www.paganscrapbooksupply.com

Step 1
Before you buy new witchy clothes, clean out your closet. You’d be amazed how many women have clothes from the 1990s or earlier in their closets. Throw away any old, beat up, worn out clothes. Give the clothes you no longer want to the goodwill.

What To Throw Away
  • Most of your old T-shirts with logos, pictures and words. They don’t look witchy. Only keep a few for the days you have to just throw something on and go.
  • Cargo pants and/or anything else that looks like something a workman would wear.
  • Any clothes with rips or stains. This includes socks with holes. Dressing in old beat up clothes is like announcing to the universe, “I love being poor.”
  • Clothes from other eras that you are never going to wear again.
  • Beat up and worn out shoes.
You might be amazed at what you find. Most women buy beautiful skirts and dresses and then stuff them away and forget about them. I found this awesome Express skirt in the back of my closet. I totally forgot that I had it. I had my eye on a similar one for sale. Buying a new one just like it would have been a total waste of money.

 What To Keep
  • Scarfs, shawls, kimonos, and fancy belts. These are a wonderful way to add flair to any outfit
  • Any clothes with embroidery, lace, crochet work, laces, bead work or any other type of embellishment.

Step 2
If you have a loved one’s clothes in the attic, basement or in storage dig them out. Your mother or grandmother’s old clothes might be beautiful. Certain looks are so classic they never go out of style.

Step 3
Organize your closet and dresser. Make sure the pants, shirts, skirts, dresses and jackets are all separated into different sections.

Step 4
Vacuum up all the dust, dirt and pet hair at the bottom of your closet. Beautiful clothes deserve a clean closet.

If you have a clean, well-organized closet with room for new clothes, new clothes will come to you. People will give you clothes that look great and fit perfectly. You will find amazing deals on the perfect clothes. Hand me downs that look as good as new will be given to you.

Step 5
Organize your jewelry box. Jewelry is a great way to spruce up an outfit and make it look witchy.

Step 6
Mix and match all your clothes, shoes and jewelry to create awesome outfits. Get a full length mirror, put on some music and have fun playing dress up.

Step 7
Buy some new witchy clothes. There will be many future blog entries on where to look and what to look for.
