How To Dress Like Wendy Beauchamp From Witches of East End Part 2 - Free People Embroidered Slip Summer Festival Meadows Of Medallion

This blog is sponsored by my store

Wendy's Free People Meadows Of Medallion Dress.

Right now there are several available on eBay. Click here to see.  None of them are currently available in black. To find a black one keep searching eBay for a "Free People Meadows Of Medallion Black Dress."

Wendy loves to wear colorful bras showing under her tops. This is not my style. I wear hidden stick on bras under my tank tops and tank dresses.

Wendy also turns into a black cat. The Witches of East End wardrobe people had Wendy wearing dangle earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and scarfs. It a cat would want to play with it, it is on Wendy Beauchamp. To complete this look add several bracelets on each arm, long dangle beaded or feather earrings and a long beaded necklace.

Wendy added long beads and an orange scarf over this dress. Orange is so NOT my color so I added a purple one instead.

How To Dress Like Wendy Beauchamp From Witches of East End Part 1

This blog is sponsored by my store

While watching Witches of East End I kept repeating to my husband, “I love Wendy’s clothes. I love her clothes. OH MY GOD!!! I LOVE her clothes!!!”

When the show was cancelled (FU FOX), a lot of the wardrobe clothes were auctioned. I bought several of Mädchen Amick’s screen worn outfits. I’m VERY happy because Mädchen Amick and I are almost the exact same size and all her clothes fit me PERFECTLY. When I couldn’t get her screen worn clothes, I hunted down the exact same outfit on eBay for a fraction of the price. This will be one of SEVERAL blog posts about Wendy’s outfits.

Episode 108

I have her screen worn top and jacket. The eBay link to the auction I won.

Complete Outfit
Suzy Shire Jacket, Express Top, Hudson Krista Wax Coated Jeans, Black Leather Knee High Boots With Chains.

Besides maybe the jeans, you can’t get these clothes on the designer’s websites any more. You have to find them via eBay.

I found out which jeans she had from this embay link: Another eBay link showing her exact wax coated Hudson jeans.

Current eBay links to this outfit.

Express Lace Tank Top
When this link is no longer active do an eBay search for “Lace Yoke Leather Shell Top from Express.”
A link to her top on Worn on TV.

Hudson Krista Black Wax Coated Skinny Jeans
When this link is no longer active do an eBay search for “Hudson Krista Black Wax Coated Skinny Jeans.”

Suzy Sheir Jacket

Sorry but the Suzy Sheir Jacket is IMPOSSIBLE to find. This is the closest one I could find.
If you really want it, keep searching eBay for “Suzy Shier Sheer Chiffon Black Jacket” or “Suzy Shier Chiffon Black Jacket” or “Chiffon Black Jacket”

Black Leather Boots

It is unknown what boots she wore. Get any black knee high heal boots and add shoe jewelry chains.

How To Dress Like Gillian Owens From Practical Magic

This blog is sponsored by my store

Practical Magic came out in 1998. I have done my best to find 90s vintage clothes and modern clothes which are close to Gillian’s wardrobe. This movie is almost 20 years old so EXACT wardrobe matches are impossible to find at this point.
Gillian is an extremely sexy and free spirited witch.

Her closet is full of items that can be removed quickly so she can have spontaneous sex with her kinky boyfriends.  She wears very short miniskirts, tight tank tops, wrap around skirts and slip on shoes. She tends to walk around barefoot. Slip on wedge heals tend to be her favorite type of shoes. They slide off quickly when she feels the need to go barefoot in the grass.
Gillian is tall and has long red hair down to her waist. She frequently wears green clothing to accentuate her red hair. Since green is red’s complementary color, redheads standout a mile in green.
Gillian’s Green Velvet Dress
Velvet sundresses were very popular in the 90s. They are almost impossible to find now. This is a link I found to a similar 90's green velvet dress. When this link is no longer active, Google “Vintage 90s Green Velvet Sundress.” Etsy and EBay have a ton of vintage 90s clothes for sale.
Gillian's Green Snake Skin Tank Top and Belly Chain
This is the closest Green Snake Skin Tank I could find.  If the link is no longer active Google “Green Snake Skin Tank Top”.
Her belly waist chain. Belly Waist Chain
Gillian's Tiger’s Eye and Clear Quartz Pendent

Click Below to buy similar pendants.
Gillian's Floral Tank Top
This is the closest one I could find. Vintage 90s Floral Tank Top. She wears a brown mini skirt and black pair of slip on heals with this top.
Gillian's Brown Wrap Around Skirt, Green Lace T-shirt and Brown Embroidered Sweater

This is a link which shows her original outfit. Gillian's Outfit
These are the closest matches I could find.
Brown Wrap Around Skirt
Brown Wool Cardigan Sweater
Green Lace T-Shirt
Gillian's Black Tank Top and Gold Sarong Skirt.
This is the closest Gold Sarong Skirt I could find.

Don't Spend a Ton Of Money On Clothes

This blog is sponsored by my store

My favorite and-me-down. My crochet dress. It is a double layered beige dress. The crochet layer goes over a silk slip.

This was a hand me down from my aunt. I didn't spend a dime on it. Don't ever refuse hand me down clothes. You never know when you will find a gem in an old bag of clothes.
I got this brown dress at Target for about $35. Adding a shawl over any dress, takes it from plain and casual to dressy and fancy. Especially if you wear the right jewelry too.

Shopping in consignment shops is a great way to save money on clothes and shoes. Today I found these beautiful Anne Klein leather boots in a consignment shop for $20. They have never been worn and are in perfect condition.

If you are ever in Beverly, MA. I highly suggest shopping in this store for beautiful clothes and shoes.

Combining Vintage and Modern Clothes

This blog is sponsored by my store

My crochet vest and jacket from the 90s. Almost ANYTHING with crochet work will add a magical look to a plain outfit. I combined my vintage clothes with my black skinny Hudson jeans and boots. The Hudson jeans have a wax coating on them to make them look shiny.

Waistlines were much higher in the 90s so my modern top hangs longer then the vest and jacket. I put my black leather jacket over this outfit to cover the mixed waistlines.

Witches look great in all black. It is a color for drawing energy towards you. I love wearing all black on a day I feel that something is missing from my life. I want to see if I can manifest my goal this week. Sorry, I won’t tell you what it is. It is important to be silent about your goals until they manifest.
AC/DC - Back in Black

I added a Hematite necklace and earrings. The black shiny stones looks great with black outfits. They are also wonderful for increasing psychic abilities.

How To Witchy-Up A Plain Outfit

This blog is sponsored by my store

It is possible to make even the most common outfit look magical. I put on a scarf, a sheer black jacket, my long chain of garnet beads, my crystal necklace, dangly crystal earrings, and some bracelets. Suddenly my outfit went from plain to witchy.

Anything that dangles or sparkles will spruce up an outfit and make it look witchy. If a cat wants to play with it, a witch will look great in it.

My May Experiment

This blog is sponsored by my store

As many of you know I run my own scrapbook store. Most days I’m inside the house, in sweat pants, covered in glue, paint, bits of paper and cat hair. Every day during the month of May I am going to dress up and take photos of all my Witchy clothes.

Today I got a text from one of my relatives regarding a party happening at the end of May. I will finally have a reason to wear my Wendy Beauchamp, Witches of East End Screen Worn Gown.  YES it is the one used on the show. I won it in an EBay auction.
It will be interesting to see what manifests in my life as a result. If I dress up every day, will money, social events and more great clothes manifest. Stay tuned.

May 1st Outfit

It is still too cold to wear all the summer clothes I took out and organized. I decided to wear my grey skinny pants and a purple top. I spruced this outfit up with embellishments.

Build Your Witchy Wardrobe

This blog is sponsored by my store

Step 1
Before you buy new witchy clothes, clean out your closet. You’d be amazed how many women have clothes from the 1990s or earlier in their closets. Throw away any old, beat up, worn out clothes. Give the clothes you no longer want to the goodwill.

What To Throw Away
  • Most of your old T-shirts with logos, pictures and words. They don’t look witchy. Only keep a few for the days you have to just throw something on and go.
  • Cargo pants and/or anything else that looks like something a workman would wear.
  • Any clothes with rips or stains. This includes socks with holes. Dressing in old beat up clothes is like announcing to the universe, “I love being poor.”
  • Clothes from other eras that you are never going to wear again.
  • Beat up and worn out shoes.
You might be amazed at what you find. Most women buy beautiful skirts and dresses and then stuff them away and forget about them. I found this awesome Express skirt in the back of my closet. I totally forgot that I had it. I had my eye on a similar one for sale. Buying a new one just like it would have been a total waste of money.

 What To Keep
  • Scarfs, shawls, kimonos, and fancy belts. These are a wonderful way to add flair to any outfit
  • Any clothes with embroidery, lace, crochet work, laces, bead work or any other type of embellishment.

Step 2
If you have a loved one’s clothes in the attic, basement or in storage dig them out. Your mother or grandmother’s old clothes might be beautiful. Certain looks are so classic they never go out of style.

Step 3
Organize your closet and dresser. Make sure the pants, shirts, skirts, dresses and jackets are all separated into different sections.

Step 4
Vacuum up all the dust, dirt and pet hair at the bottom of your closet. Beautiful clothes deserve a clean closet.

If you have a clean, well-organized closet with room for new clothes, new clothes will come to you. People will give you clothes that look great and fit perfectly. You will find amazing deals on the perfect clothes. Hand me downs that look as good as new will be given to you.

Step 5
Organize your jewelry box. Jewelry is a great way to spruce up an outfit and make it look witchy.

Step 6
Mix and match all your clothes, shoes and jewelry to create awesome outfits. Get a full length mirror, put on some music and have fun playing dress up.

Step 7
Buy some new witchy clothes. There will be many future blog entries on where to look and what to look for.
